Dr. Mary Storm
Mary Storm has a MA in East Asian Studies from Stanford University and received her PhD South Asian Art History from the University of California, Los Angeles. In addition to many articles, she is the author of Head and Heart: Self-Sacrifice in the Art of India. Dr. Storm was a visiting professor of art history at Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi, and subsequently worked for over ten years as the Academic Director for two programs associated with SIT Study Abroad, New Delhi. Her experience as a research scholar working and traveling throughout India for over 25 years, along with depth of knowledge for South East Asian art history, make Dr. Storm particularly suitable to lead our trips.
